Wife of Robert Washington Boydstun.

Chico Weekly Chronicle-Record, Saturday, April 6, 1895, pg 1 col 4: The Last Tribute. Funeral of Mrs. Louisa Florence Boydstun Largely Attended. Not frequently is there gathered such a large assembly to pay tokens of respect to the memory of a departed one, as was that at the funeral of Mrs. Louisa Florence Boydstun yesterday afternoon at the family residence in Chapmantown. Friends and relations from far and near came in such numbers, that at the hour appointed for the services, the home was crowded and many stood outside.

Beautiful floral offerings made almost a complete embankment about the casket.

Rev. Hathaway of the Christian Church preached an appropriate funeral discourse, and a choir rendered appropriate hymns.

The pall bearers were: G.C. Nelson, Ed Warren, W.L. Bradley, F.W. Miller, A.C. Broyles, and M. Oser.

At the close of the services the cortege was formed and proceeded to the cemetery, where all that was earthly of this beloved lady was placed in its final resting place.
