Note that the obituary that ran in the Kingsport Times lists name as Eula Perry. This was a mistake as she was the wife of Nathan G. Terry (not Perry).


PENNINGTON GAP - Mrs. Eula Snead Perry, 60, died Saturday at her home after a brief illness.

Surviving are her husband, Nathan; step-son, Larrie, Ben Hur; step-daughters, Mrs. Gladys Henderson and Mrs. Irene Perry, both Orleans, Ind. and Mrs. Joe Ann Green, Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Hershel Scott, Norton, and James Scott and Albert Scott, both Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Betty Eldridge, Panama City, Fla.; Miss Carrie Thacker and Mrs. Geneva Williams, both Norton; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Sturgill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Mrs. Eula Snead Perry of Pennington Gap will be al 1 p.m. Monday from Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Henry Collins officiating, Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery at Ben Hur. The body will remain at the Sturgill Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 10 tonight. Sturgill Funeral Home is in charge.
