Know ye that we for for and in consideration of the sum of FIFTY SHILLINGS FOR EVERY HUNDRED ACRES thereby granted paid into our treatury by JOHN BOLICK have given and granted and by these presentz doth give grant bargain unto the said JOHN BOLICK a tract of land containing FORTY FIVE ACRES lying and being in the COUNTY OF LINCOLN on the WATERS OF CLARKS CREEK

Beginning at a Post Oak CASPER BOLICKS CORNER and RUNS ALONG CASPER AND BOSTAIN BOLICK LINE North 76 poles to a small Hickory where BOLICKZ WHITE OAK CORNER STOOD then West 134 poles to a small Hickory JACOB KLINE CORNER then along KLINEZ LINE South 25W 46 poles to a Black oak KLINES CORNER then to beginning

Entered 17 Feb 1810.

As by the plat hereunto annexed doth appear Together with all woods waters mines minerals heraditaments & appurtenances to the said land belonging or appertaining to hold to the said JOHN BOLICK his heirs afsigns forever yielding paying was such sums of money yearly otherwise as our General Afsembly from time to time may direct Provided always that the said grantee shall cause this grant to be registered in the Registers Office of our said County of Lincoln within twelve months from the date ??? otherwise the same shall be void.

In Testimony whereof we have caused these our Letters to be made patent and our great seal to be hereunto affixed.

Witnefs WILLIAM HAWKINS ESQ GOVNR ?? at Raleigh the 14TH DAY OF DECEMBER IN THE 31? YEAR OF OUR INDEPENDENCE & in the year of our Lord ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED & ELEVEN (1811)
