First marriage to Edna Winters, they had one son, Harvey, in 1897, and she passed away in 1899.

Second marriage to Callie McCuiston on 7 Apr 1901 in Polk County, Arkansas. They had three known children, Gaines, Julia, and Mary.

Callie is buried in Oklahoma, with a marker that also bears Oliver's name. Oliver died in California, where he was living near his children, and was buried in Riverside.

Wooley, Glen Avon, Calif.; Harvey Hampton, Yucaipa, Calif.; Gaines Hampton, Salem, Ore.; and Mrs. Julia Heinis, Reseda, Calif. Brother of Mrs. Mabel Calloway, Kansas City, Kans.; Mrs. Kulia[sic] Groves, Shawnee, Okla.; Mrs. Nannie Ingold, Broken Arrow, Okla.; Mrs. Susan Glascock, San Diego, Calif.; Douglas Hampton, Cotter, Ark.; and Oscar Hampton, Ashdown, Ark. Also survived by seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel of Acheson & Graham Inc., on Thursday, June 10 at 2 p.m. Rev. B. Frank Cron offictiating.
