Married Oliver Edwin Hampton on 7 Apr 1901 in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas. He was a widower with a three year old son, Harvey Lewis Hampton. Oliver and Callie had three known children; Gaines Edwin, Julia Deane, and Mary C Hampton.

OBITUARY: "Mrs. Ella C. Hampton, 67, died at her home, 713 J street northwest, at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

Survivors include her husband; O.E. Hampton; two sons, James E. Hampton, Lebanon, Ore., and Harvey Hampton of Pomona, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. J.H. Wooley, Corvallis, Ore., and Mrs. P.L. Woods, El Monte, Calif., and one brother, T.B. McCustin of Miami.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fisk Funeral home chapel. The Rev. Coral D. Walker, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate. Burial will be in GAR cemetery."
