Short services were held at the house after which the funeral cortege proceeded to the East Steelton Church of God, where the funeral services were held and were conducted by Rev. O. J. Farling, pastor of the church.
The remains were taken to Oberlin where they were interred in the family plot in the cemetery in that town.
The funeral was very largely attended.
