Emile Lejeune (1853-1916) - Find a Grave Memorial

Peacetime Medal of Honor Recipient. He entered the US Navy at New York and served as a Seaman. His citation reads "Serving on board the USS Plymouth, Lejeune displayed gallant conduct in rescuing a citizen from drowning at Port Royal, S.C., 6 June 1876.
