The Wellington Leader December 12, 1935

William Thomas Love died in a Wichita Falls hospital Dec. 5. He was well known in this county having lived here for the past 25 years and had many friends here. He resided in the northwest part of town and was a farmer by trade.

He was born May 21, 1872 and at the time of his death was 63 years, six months and 15 days of age.

Mr. Love is a brother-in-law of O.K. Allen, present governor of Louisiana, but was himself a native of Texas.

Surviving him are his wife, Ellie Love; daughter, Mrs. Willie Mae Kelly of Wellington; step-daughter, Miss Ruby Whittenburg of Wellington; niece, Louise Griffin of Wellington; cousin, Ray Love of Wellington; five sisters: Mrs. Sallie Peele of Fort Worth; Mrs. M.G. Neathery of Vernon; Mrs. O.K. Allen of Baton Rouge, LA; Mrs. Annie Scott of Yowell, Texas; Mrs. Mary Smith of Ardmore, OK; two brothers: Benton Love of Sumner, TX and Frank Love of Wichita Falls.
