She was born, November 13, 1909, in Owen County, the daughter of Fletcher and Pearl (Dickerson) Thatcher.
Her husband, Clayton White, survives.
She was a housewife and was a former employee of the Freedom Post Office.
Mrs. White was member of the Coal City Community Bible Church.
Survivors besides her husband are one daughter, Ruth Evelyn Wall of Coal City; one son, James F. White of Rural Route 2, Clay City; Two brothers, Fletcher Thatcher Jr. of Worthington and Claude Thatcher of Spencer; Two sisters, Freda Figg of Spencer and Louise Cassidy of Bedford; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were Wednesday, July 17 at Welch and Cornett Worthington Chapel. Pastor Leroy Freeman officiated.
Interment was at the Pleasant Bethel Cemetery.
