LEWIS-COLLINS

Accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Davis and Mr. Jas. W. Williams, Hon. W. N. Lewis went to Oklahoma City Monday where at 8 p.m. he was united in marriage to Miss Hattie Ruth Collins at her home. Rev. C. A. Burris officiated.

Miss Collins lived with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. G. H. Collins, in Davis many years. She went to school here, later taught here and at other places and resigned a position in the Oklahoma City schools to take up a new life. She is a highly esteemed and talented young lady, whose sweet disposition wins friends for her everywhere she goes. She is in every way capacitated to make Mr. Lewis' home an ideal one.

"Judge" Lewis is an attorney-at-law who has done a successful business since his arrival in Davis many years ago. He is city attorney of Davis, which position he has creditably filled for many consecutive years. He enjoys the confidence and friendship of a long list of friends and acquaintances throughout the state.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis are now sojourning among relatives in Mississippi. They will shortly return to Davis and take up their abode in the Mrs. Nivoche house.

The News joins their many friends in extending them heartiest congratulations and wishing them the compliments of the season.
