Photographer.He captured the essence of Paris in black and white.He was among France's great photographers who emerged after World War II.Photographs of eastern Paris, where Mr. Ronis lived, were collected in a book of the Belleville and Menilmontant neighborhoods.Ronis won the Prix Nadar in 1981 for his photobook,"Sur le fil du hasard".
