Sadly, nothing is really know about Rozalia Kowalska Michalski other than her maiden name, her origin in Laskowo, Poland, and the fact that she died in 1889, a year before her husband was killed by a train in Lemont, Illinois. The proximity of their deaths leads me to wonder if his death was really accidental vs suicidal, but we may never know since no record of either death seems to exist in the Lemont area newspaper of the day (according to the Lemont Historical Society). The church in Lemont was fairly tight-lipped about opening their door and/or their records to any visitation, but maybe others will break through this virtual barrier.
