Mr. Bryant was born July 5, 1935 in Coffee County, AL to Willie Franklin and Lola Boyd Brewer Bryant. He attended school in Cottonwood and was a 1954 graduate of Rehobeth High School. Mr. Bryant worked for J.L. Adams Supply as Warehouse Manager and later worked with Wells Jackson in auto parts. He enjoyed being outdoors with his two dogs, Molly and Walker; Braves Baseball and Crimson Tide Football. Mr. Bryant was a regular at the Table of Knowledge at Ray's Restaurant and a member of Memphis Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joy Yeomans; four brothers: Rex Bryant, Max Bryant, Bob Bryant and Ted Bryant. Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Buntin Bryant, Dothan; two daughters, Fay Bryant and Kay Miller, both of Dothan; two grandchildren, Matthew Bryant and his fianc‚, Lindsey, Birmingham, Anna Joy Bryant, Dothan; brother, Jim Frank and Virginia Bryant, Prattville, AL; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Bryant, Montgomery, AL, Fran Bryant, Springville, AL; a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as active pall-bearers will be Matthew Bryant, Anna Joy Bryant, Greg Buntin, Terry Bryant, Keith Williams and Mickey Battles. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tom Devine Sunday School Class, Mike Devine, Scotty Yeomans, Kenny Givens, Charles Ray McCord and Lynn Yeomans.
