He was the son of Mrs. Mattie Allen Broyles, native of Winn now of Leesville, and was the nephew of Congressman Leonard Allen of Winnfield, and had numerous other relatives in Winn Parish.
Last rites were conducted in Leesville Monday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Leesville Cemetery.
In addition to his wife and mother he leaves two sons, one daughter, three brothers, and a sister.
