Mrs. Mattie Allen Broyles, sister of the late Gov. O. K. Allen, died at 2 a.m. Monday in the Leesville hospital after a long illness. She was 82.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Beauregard Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Palmer, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Leesville, officiating. Burial was in the Leesville Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. John Livingston of McDade, three sons, Dr. William H. Broyles of Leesville, Harvey Broyles of Shreveport, and Theodore Ralph Broyles of Leesville, 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
