Oliver Mason was born in Malone, NY, the son of John Mason and Cordelia (Barton) Mason. He married Eva Hinckley and they had thirteen children. Mr. Mason was a retired carpenter when he died in Belmont Hospital in Worcester.
At the time of his death, he left his wife; seven sons, John, Joseph, Henry, Earl, Paul, Robert, and Oliver Mason Jr -all of Worcester. Mr. Mason also left six daughters, Emmy Sadusky, Lillian Millette, Mary Stolicker, and Miss Laura Mason -all of Worcester, Miss Hazel Mason of Arlington, and Miss Rita Mason of Boston; and two brothers, John and Frank Mason; a sister, Mrs. Louise Remillard and 13 grandchildren.
