William Andrews, son of Jonas Andrews, of this city, met with an accident last Sunday morning that resulted in instant death. Andrews and Jack Lucky were engaged in moving an organ. The jolting of the dray threw Andrews off backwards, the fall breaking his neck and causing instant death.
Rev. Tormohlen conducted the funeral services at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon and the body was laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery. The deceased leaves a wife and two children to mourn his untimely end, and they command the sympathy of this community.
William married Sarah Emily Evett Dec. 17. 1892, In Watseka, Iroquois Co. IL. She died Aug. 4, 1955, in Wiesbaden, Germane.
