I believe this is the marker for Melanie Reeb, the wife of Moses. She died in Spokane WA and her ashes were brought here by her daughter and daughter-in-law.
As a note, Louis Cohn, was married to her daughter, Jeanette.
Union Democrat, April 20, 1912
Mrs. Melanie Reeb, formerly and for long years a resident of Sonora, died last Saturday at the home of her sister, Mrs. P. (Pauline) Joseph in Spokane, Washington. She was the widow of the late Moses Reeb, who was a prominent clothing merchant of this city for many years. All old timers will learn with regret the passing of this good woman, who was recognized as one of this community’s most charitable and benevolent characters. Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Louis Cohn (Jeannette), two sons, Ferdinand and Benjamin Reeb, and three sisters, Mrs. P. Joseph (Pauline), Mrs. R. Ferguson (Rosalie) and Mrs. G. W. Nicol (Julia). In their severe loss of a fond parent and loving sister the public sympathize with them.
The body of deceased was transported to San Francisco where the funeral service was conducted Wednesday from the home of her son, Ferdinand, cremation following in Cypress Lawn cemetery.

Late Monday evening the ashes of late Melanie Reeb were brought to Sonora by a daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Cohn, and Mrs. Fred Reeb and placed by side of the husband in the Hebrew Cemetery.
