Professional Football Player. He was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the 1951 NFL Draft in round 8 as Pick 90 by the Chicago Cardinals as a center. Before starting his professional career, he played football at Louisiana Tech. In his NFL career, he played for the Chicago Cardinals from 1951 until 1957 and the Baltimore Colts for one season, 1958. While with the Cardinals, he was part of their 1958 Championship team, and he also played in 2 Pro Bowls. He was inducted into the Louisiana Tech Athletic Hall of Fame (1985) and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame (1991). He passed away at the age of 94.
