Anna married Marcin GORALCZYK in Poland. (He appears in some records as "Martin.") Nine children were born to the marriage: Josephine/Jozefa, Helen, Anthony/Antoni, John/Jan, Stanley/Stanislav, Chester/Czeslaw, Frank, Angela Sofia, Lucile/Lucia. Her first four children (Jozefa, Helen, Antoni, Jan) were born in Poland. Her 5th child (Stanislav) was born in Pennsylvania, in 1907. In 1910, she and her family were living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her husband was working in a mill, probably a steel mill. She and her husband had been married for 11 years, and their six children were living with them. By 1916, the family was living in South Bend, Indiana, at 1619 W. Sample Street. Mr. Goralczyk died in March 1917; by then, the family was living at 2017 W. Sample, South Bend. In 1920, Anna was at that at 2017 W. Sample home, with all nine of their children. She reported having arrived in the USA in 1906. Sometime after 1920, Anna married the twice-widowed John/Jan GALWAS. By 1930, Anna was living with 2nd husband Mr. Galwas and some of her children and some of his children, at 1722 W. Dunham, in South Bend. No children were born to her marriage with Mr. Galwas, and he died in 1944.
