In addition to daughters Zelda and Freida listed below, records from the Retherford Family Cemetery in Magnet Cove, Arkansas indicate that Elizabeth had four additional children that were buried on the family farm that were marked only with stones.

The 1940 census lists Elizabeth Harrell as "married", having completed one year of high school, and working as a cook at the State of Arizona School for deaf and blind in Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona. In 1950, her occupation was listed as school lunch supervisor. Apparently, she had separated from her 2nd husband sometime before moving to AZ in 1940.
