She gained widespread recognition for her debut novel, "The Fall Syndrome: About Homo Compatiens," portraying Ukraine's 2014 Revolution of Dignity. The book earned critical acclaim, including the Joseph Conrad Literary Award. Amelina also wrote a compelling children's book titled "Somebody, or Water Heart" and another notable novel, "Dom's Dream Kingdom." Tragically, Amelina's life ended at 37 during the Russian attack on Kramatorsk.
