He was born as Guillermo Angulo Luciano to Ezequiel Angulo and his wife Asuncion Luciano Angulo in Carolina, Puerto Rico, on June 25, 1902. He played the position of first baseman with the Cuban Stars (East) or the Stars of Cuba of the American Negro League making his professional baseball debut with them in 1929. The 5'6" and 133lbs first baseman played with the Cuban Stars (Eat) or the Stars of Cuba for a few more games through the rest of the baseball season of 1929.
