The death of Mrs. Ellen R. Cameron, a well known early-day Oshkosh woman, widow of George Cameron, occurred at her home, 202 High street, this morning at the age of eighty.

Mrs. Cameron came to Oshkosh sixty-eight years ago and had resided here ever since. She was born at Chester, Vt, In 1836 and was married to Mr. Cameron in this city June 20, 1856. Her husband passed away thirty-two years ago.

The end came after a gradual decline and followed directly upon a cold which threatened pneumonia about a month ago. The -aged woman bad partly recovered from that attack, but a turn for the worse had been noted recently.

She is survived by four sons and two daughters, Miss Fannie Cameron, George E. Cameron, Charles M. Cameron, and S. B. Cameron, all of this city, R. B. Cameron of Lancaster, Cal., and Mrs. F. S. Dayton of New London.

The funeral services will take place from the home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Francis Dayton of New London officiating. Interment will be in the family lot at Riverside cemetery. Friends are requested to refrain from sending flowers.
