Actor. He was best known to television viewers as the oldest brother Jason Bolt on the ABC comedy western series "Here Come the Brides" from 1968 to 1970. After serving in the United States Navy, he turned to acting, training with Lee Strasberg at the Dramatic Workshop. He started on the theatrical stage before going to Hollywood to appear in both films and television. In 1948, he made his film debut in "The Challenge." He went on to appear in such films as "The Flame Barrier" (1958) and "Tower of London" (1962). In 1958, he made his "small screen" debut on "Matinee Theatre." Besides "Here Come the Brides," he later appeared in such series as "The Lawless Years," "Perry Mason," "Primus," "Police Story," and "In the Heat of the Night."
