Actress. She was a German actress in films, on television, on stage, and on the radio. She will be best remembered for playing in the horror film, "Anita" (1920). The film which was directed by Jacob Fleck and Luise Fleck, which was written for the screen by Fritz Löhner-Beda, and which also starred Wilhelm Klitsch, Julius Strobl, and Nora Herbert, tells the story of a society lady trapped under the spell of an unskilled hypnotist. She was born as Lola Kneidinger in Germany to actor Karl Kneidinger (1882-1952), on January 13, 1901. She made her actual film debut playing in the film, "Licht und Schatten" (1919). The film which was directed by Artur Holz, also starred Hugo Werner-Kahle, Hugo Werner-Kahle, Jaro Fürth, Julius Strobl, and Ernst Arndt. Besides, playing in the film, "Licht und Schatten" (1919), and playing in the horror film, "Anita" (1920), her many other film credits include, "Freut Euch des Lebens" (1920), "Das vierte Gebot" (1920), "Junggesellenwirtschaft" (1920), "Miß Hobbs" (1921), "Der glitzernde Fluch" (1921), "Revanche" (1922), "Der Lumpensammler von Paris" (1922), "Hoffmanns Erzählungen" (1923), "Knock-out!" (1923), "Irene in Nöten" (1953), "Ihr erstes Rendezvous" (1955), "The Cowgirl Of Saint Catherine" (1955), "Der Jungfrauenkrieg" (1957), "Sebastian Kneipp" (1957), "Wenn das mein großer Bruder wüßte" (1959), and "When the Bells Sound Clearly" (1959). Her last film role was playing in the television film drama, "Die Ballade von Peckham Rye" (1966). The film which was directed by Jan Biczycki, which was adapted for the screen by Christopher Holme, which was translated for the screen by Hanns Jobst, which was based on the novel by Muriel Spark, and which also starred Heinz Reincke, Waltraut Schmahl, Eduard Marks, Brigitte Grothum, and Helmut Griem, tells the story of is Dougal Douglas the Devil? He says he is; and certainly, he causes chaos wherever he goes. She retired from acting shortly thereafter.
