Politician and military. Miguel Auza Arrenechea was a prominent Mexican politician and military man recognized as a Hero after his participation in the Siege of Puebla during the invasion of Mexico in 1863. In his political career he served as Interim Governor of the State of Zacatecas on several occasions, Magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice, Deputy to the Local Congress and later of the Constituent Assembly, as well as Magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
