Stunning, lithe
Tall white cat
Blue eyes
Showing the depth
Of his soul
Where did he come from?
Where will he go?
Many moons later
Fed by the neighbor
We're asked to
Take over his care
With food and love
He transforms
Into a healthy boy
Cream with
Apricot markings
A Flame Point Siamese
A lap cat
Fond of naps
Hunting and
Rolling in cat nip
Lounging on mats and chairs
He cares about us
We care about him
Trust stronger with each day
A miracle to behold
Coyote cheated him
Of becoming old
Grateful to have shared
Our lives with him
Honored he shared
His life with us
