James Edward Aaron Brother of Hank Aaron dead at 72. James was born 08/21/1949, in Mobile, Alabama to Herbert Sr. and Estella (Pritchett) Aaron. He graduated from Central High School in Mobile and attended Florida A&M University. After returning to Mobile, James found his passion working as a drug counselor at the Salvation Army.
James is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Aaron, Sr., and mother, Estella (Pritchett) Aaron, two sisters, Gloria Aaron and Sarah Aaron Jones, four brothers, Tommie Aaron, Herbert Aaron, Jr., Alfred Aaron, and Henry "Hank" Aaron.
He is survived by his sister, Alfredia (Aaron) Scott, and her husband, Congressman David Scott, longtime companion, Eva Aaron, and a host of nieces and nephews. The service 02/24/22, at 10:00 a.m. burial services at Magnolia Cemetery. Entrusted to: Lovett's Funeral Chapel.
