Actress. She is best remembered for playing the role of 'Sara Offor' in the film "The Red Horses" (1950). The film which was based on Danish writer Morten Korch's book was the best-selling movie in Denmark in 2003 when over 2.4 million tickets were sold in comparison with director James Cameron's film Titanic which only sold 1.4 million tickets in Denmark upon its release in 1997. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, on March 20, 1922, she was the daughter of actor Hakon Ahnfelt-Rønne and his wife Margaretha Schnitler. She originally trained as a dancer at the Royal Opera House from 1943 to 1945, before turning to acting. After graduating she started to act in the famed Aarhus Theater. From 1945 to 1947, she appeared in several productions at the theater most notably as 'Ruth' in Kaj Munk's "Niels Ebbesen." She also made appearances at the Frederiksberg Theater and Knights Hall from 1948 to 1952. She made her acting film debut in the film, "Det hændte i København" (1949, AKA It Happened In Copenhagen"), and continued making a few more movies until 1980. Her many other film credits include, "Berlingske tidende" (1949), "Det Gamle guld" (1951), "Winterborn" (1978), and "The Moment" (1980). On television, she appeared in the television series, "En by i provinsen" as 'Dommeren' in 1979. In 1972, she began a career in theater publishing and made trips around the world including stops in Berlin, Germany, Hamburg, Germany, New York, New York, Paris, France, London, England, and Stockholm, Sweden. She was married twice, first to actor Poul Müller, and then to theater publisher, consultant Meir Feigenberg, with whom she had two sons, stage instructor and actor Emmet Feigenberg, and director and actor Gerz Feigenberg, who passed away in 2011. She passed away at the age of 84 and was interred with her husband Meir Feigenberg who passed away one month before she did.
