Olympic Gold Medalist. Italian racing cyclist, as an amateur he took part in the 1915 Giro di Lombardia finishing in 44th position. After the forced break due to the First World War, he returned to racing in 1919 and joined the Olympic team selected to participate in the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920. He won Olympic gold with Giorgetti, Ferrari, and Carli, beating the Grand Brittany in the 4 km event, a team pursuit specialty. He also took part in the individual 50 km test on the road, but he had little success.
