Margaret Jane Cropper, 90, of Central Point passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her daughter's home. Born in Caroline, she was the widow and devoted wife of Burley J. Cropper. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Sharon Haring (David), Brenda Jett (John),and Debbie Loving (and her late husband, T J Loving); and was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Jennifer Loving Wilson (Paul), Joshua Jett (Lindsey) and Bryan Haring (Amber); and great grandson, Samuel Haring.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Rappahannock Area Lodge #15 Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star Caroline Chapter #174. She loved volunteering during Vacation Bible School at Salem Baptist Church working with the two and three year olds.
Her hobbies were doing word search puzzles and crafts.
She had a passion for bird watching and had a special place in her heart for hummingbirds. She passed away while looking out of the window at her bird feeders.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 20, 2022 in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green with Rev. Jared Beasley officiating. There will be a Private Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
