Steve Harper, 61 of Arab passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Steve was born May 16, 1960, in Arab the son of L. D Harper and Nellie Henderson Harper. He was a graduate of Arab High School Class of 1978 and a faithful member of the Union Hill F.C.M. Church, in which he served as the choir director. He was very active with the youth of the church, along with many other facets and church functions.

He is survived by his Siblings: Kathy (Oliver) Taylor, Lynn (Beverly) Harper, Kristi (Leland) Walker; Nieces and Nephew: Ashley (Darrin) Fronk, Kaitlyn Harper, Karli Walker, Andrew (Malerie) Walker, Candace Denney and Alyssa Hadley; Great Nieces and Nephews: Abby, Eli, Rhett, Moriah, Aiden and Emersyn.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the Union Hill F.C.M. Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Union Hill F.C.M. Church and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers: Greg Still, Mike Still, Dewayne Shedd, Michael Hardin, Jake Hostetler, Elton Haymon, Ronnie Brookshire and David Young
