Mrs. Maude Walker, 68 years old, wife of George Walker, died at 5 a. m., Wednesday. She lived at 606 West Fifth Street. Born in Connersville, her parents were Jefferson and Elizabeth Rolland Smith. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist church. Survivors besides the husband are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Virginia Ellis of Connersville; three sisters. Mrs. Mayme Ellen and Mrs. Eva Williams of Connersville and Mrs. Jeanette Frost of Toledo, Ohio: and one granddaughter. Rites for Mrs. Walker will be held at 2 p. m., Friday in the Mt. Zion church, with burial in Dale cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
