Arlington lists her name as Aslanian but the death certificate appears to give the last name Arslanian. She was the daughter of Manoog Kapigian (Capegian) and Surma Gamarekian. Manoog is buried just a couple spaces to the right when facing her grave. Sadie arrived in the U.S. in November 1900 with her mother and three siblings to meet her father who lived in Milford, Massachusetts. Her name is not readable on the manifest but it was Satenig and Americanized to Sadie. She was married and died at age 28 of a diabetic coma. She lived at 1913 South Street. The informant on her death certificate was D. M. Boyajian. Her grave is unmarked but can be found between two stones hidden under the bush pictured here. It is in the center of the photo, and to the right of it in the picture is the Taylor stone (also Armenians). On the left side is the Miller stone, obscured in this picture. Sadie is buried with George Aslanian, likely her husband.
