Victorino Chermont (1973-2016) - Find a Grave Memorial

Brazilian Sports Journalist and Television Presenter. Victorino Chermont worked for Rede Bandeirantes in Rádio Globo, SporTV and Fox Sports Brazil. On this channel, in addition to being a reporter, he presented 'A Última Palavra' (The Final Saying). He hosted the sports television program 'Jogos para Sempre,' together with Lúcio de Castro, broadcasted from 2005 to 2011. He received several awards including the Botequim Prize for best sports journalist in 2012, and the Sports Media Award for Sports Journalism in 2013 and 2014. Chermont died in the crash of LaMia Airlines Flight 2933 on 28 November 2016 while covering the Associação Chapecoense de Futebol team for Fox Sports.
