The death is announced of Miss Jane Whyte Balfour, Colinton, a sister of the late Dr. Balfour, whose memory is cherished to this day by older residents of the burgh of Leven. Miss Balfour was best known to the world by her relationship to Robert Louis Stevenson, and as the "Auntie" of the Child's Garden of Verse.
