Businessman, Colonizer. Fortunato Anzoátegui Irisity, Uruguayan diplomat and businessman, nationalized Argentine, son of Captain Héctor Anzoátegui, from a family of Basque origin. In 1903 he settled in Buenos Aires to marry María Luísa Martí, daughter of Fernando Martí, and dedicated himself to managing his father-in-law's assets. In 1906 he created a settlement company dedicated to the sale and rental of fields, the formation of colonies and urban centers, the purchase and sale of ranches, the exploitation of mountains and the sale of firewood. With this company he founded in 1908, together with his father-in-law, Pueblo y Colonia de Fernando Martí (currently Coronel Charlone), officially inaugurated in 1911. He also founded the towns Ministro Lobos (currently Naicó) and Anzoategui in the south of the province of La Pampa.
