She was married to Charles Ray Attaway on March 18, 1959.
Sue Norris Attaway had a career as a Secretary for the Probate Judge of Shelby County. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Attaway (1938-2020).
She was survived by her son, Dennis Attaway; grandchildren, Brianna Attaway, Matthew Attaway, Hannah Attaway and Logan Attaway; her sisters, Melvy Thomas, Helen Fowler, Ruby Smith and Ruth Murphy.
A graveside service will be held at Southern Heritage Cemetery on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
