Erected in 2007, monument is dedicated to the memory of the 583 killed in the Tenerife Airport Disaster on March 27, 1977. The collision involving Boeing 747s Pan Am Flight 1736 and KLM Flight 4805, remains one of the deadliest accidents in aviation history.
