Composer. Luis Arcaraz Torrás was a composer, pianist, arranger, singer, and conductor of a popular orchestra. He was one of the most important figures of the XEW radio station. His compositions were recorded by personalities of the time such as Javier Solís, Jorge Negrete, Antonio Badú, Juan Arvizu, Pedro Vargas, Chucho Martínez Gil, Germán Valdés "Tin Tan," as well as by musical groups Sonora Santanera, Sonora Siguaray and various tropical groups. Arcaraz was a faithful exponent of the Golden Age of the romantic music of Mexico. He tragically died in a car accident.
