"Betty" was preceded in death by her husband, George Wayne Brown, her parents, Melvin and Sybil Eade Anderson, a grandson, Paul Russell Seymour and nine siblings.
She was a graduate of Mills River High School and attended Brevard College. She was a Real Estate Broker and owned and operated her own company for several years. She was very involved in her community and loved gospel music and dancing, was a member of the Mills River Presbyterian Church and touched many lives during her 86 years.
Surviving is a brother, Reverend James Eade Anderson of Montreat; her daughters, Brenda Scott and husband Curley of Saluda and Dale Jones and husband Gary of Hendersonville; three loving granddaughters, Kelly Friesen and husband Josh, Amber Baldwin and husband Jared and Wendy Bartlebaugh and husband Branden; two precious great granddaughters, Madeleine and Cassie and several nieces and nephews.
