Murder victim. A young life taken far too soon. Daughter of Ervil LeBaron, who was the leader of a Mormon fundamentalist group known as the Church of the First Born of the Lamb of God, and Delfina Salido, who was one of Ervil's no less than 13 wives in a plural marriage. She was three months pregnant at the time she was supposedly strangled near Dallas on her father's orders, according to "Prophet of Blood." Her father supposedly had her murdered because "she hollered a lot," complained a lot and had threatened to inform police about the group unless she was reunited with a son the group had left in Denver. Her body, which to this day has never been found along with her unborn child's, was supposedly buried in a remote desert area shortly after her murder. May this beloved child rest in heavenly peace.
