Sir Henry Spencer Moreton Havelock-Allan, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 January 1872.
He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Henry Marshman Havelock-Allan, 1st Bt., V.C. and Lady Alice Reynolds-Moreton.
He married, firstly, Edith Sowerby, daughter of Thomas Charles Johnson Sowerby, on 12 November 1903.
He married, secondly, Mary Isobel Gordon, daughter of Henry Shape Gordon, on 30 April 1936.
His marriage to Mary Isobel Gordon was annulled in 1937.
He married, thirdly, Doris Pamela Levy, daughter of Sir Maurice Levy, 1st Bt., on 7 December 1937.
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Havelock, of Lucknow [U.K., 1858] on 30 December 1897.
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Bishop Auckland between 1910 and 1918.
He gained the rank of Major in the 17th Battalion, Lancashire Regiment. He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded in 1916.
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Darlington.
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Durham.
He died on 28 October 1953 at age 81, without issue. His nephew Henry Ralph Moreton Havelock-Allan (1899 - 1975), succeeded as 3rd Baronet.
