Teresa L. Armendariz, 91, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Lubbock.

Prayer services will be at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery, and a family meal will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday at Filadelfia Assembly of God Church, 260 SE 1000, in Andrews. Teresa was born on October 15, 1927 in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico to Paulo Lujan and Enriqueta Holguin Lujan. She married Matilde Armendariz in 1944 in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua, Mexico, and he preceded her in death. She had lived in Mexico, Presidio, and Andrews. She was full of life, telling stories, eccentric, and loved to dress up. She was thrifty and good with her money, loved to go to garage sales and re-sell what she had, and was an entrepreneur. She loved to work in her garden, watch Mexican soap operas, and was always cooking for her family. She was a homemaker all her life and loved being around and spending time with all of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Juan De Dios Armendariz, special friend, Trinidad “Trini” Muniz, 4 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Teresa is survived by her 6 daughters, Rosa Elva Gonzales of Lubbock, Carmen A. Castro of Andrews, Enriqueta Aranda of Presidio, Librada Armendariz of Andrews, Maribel Armendariz of Andrews, and Irma Elia Puentes of Odessa, 5 sons, Jorge Luis Armendariz of Post, Jose Maria Armendariz of Andrews, Rogelio Armendariz of Andrews, Hector Ruben Armendariz of Lubbock, Rolando Armendariz of Post, 1 brother, Favio Lujan of Andrews, 32 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
