Allen Asberry was born on February 4, 1946 in Orangeburg County, Vance, SC to the late Hutto and Mymie Asbury. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 21, 2016. Allen graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High School in 1963. He enjoyed working on cars and a became a very good mechanic. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. After giving his life to Christ at a young age he became a member of Rock Hill A.M.E. Church. Later in his adult life he attended and found comfort in the Lord at God's Soul Safety Net Outreach Ministries in Holly Hill, SC.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his devoted life long partner, Mary Ann Goodwin, Vance SC; seven children, Latonya Waterman (Jacksonville Fl), Audrey Asbury (Vance SC), Angela (Cory) Salley,(Lithonia GA), Donnell (Glendoria) Davis, (Denmark SC), Anthony Goodwin, (Vance SC), Alexander Goodwin, (Spartanburg SC) and Allen Jenkins, (Holly Hill SC); two sisters, Jeanette White (Vance SC), Gloria J. Capers, (Santee SC); two brothers, Harvey (Lillian) Asbury and George (Kittie) Asbury, both of Vance SC; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.
