Our mother, after 38 years of separation, rejoined our father, H. Norman Ward, on February 3, 2019. She was a homemaker and the strong foundation of our family. She was born in 1927 to Lillian and Henry Pankhurst. She was a member of the Varina Woman's Club and a life member of the Eastern Star MIZPAH Chapter No. 32. She was also recognized by St. Mary's Hospital for knitting many baby hats for the newborns in the maternity ward.
She was survived by her children, Don Ward, his wife, Beth, and their children, Ben and Ashley Ward; a daughter, Debbie Ward and her children, Jay Martin & Kristin Schultz, and a great-granddaughter. She was also survived by many favorite nieces and nephews.
