Henry worked for the same employer for over 50 years. Henry was the father of Joyce Ann Pankhurst Ward and the grandfather of Don and Debra Ward who knew him as "Big". In his retirement years he enjoyed caning chairs and making furniture which are enjoyed by his family today (2016).
