Concetta (Schena) Iola, 97, of Haverhill died Saturday at Baker-Katz
Nursing Home.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Francesca
(Del Visco) Schena. She attended Haverhill Schools.
Mrs. Iola was the co-owner of Schena's Bakery on River St., retiring in
1960.
She was the wife of the late Domenic Iola who died in 1966.
She is survived by son Louis Robert Iola of Haverhill; daughter Norma
Grise of Chicopee; brothers Michael and Alfred Schena both of Haverhill;
sister Antoinette Miller of Haverhill; seven grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and nieces and
nephews.
A funeral Mass was Tuesday in St. John the Baptist Church.
Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
