Louis James Johnson (1881-1963) - Find a Grave Memorial

Inventor, Aviation Pioneer. He designed, constructed, and flew one of the first monoplanes in the United States in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1911, along with his brothers, Harry and Clarence. Inventor of the Johnson Outboard Motor at age 18 in 1908.
